Will callers know they're talking to an AI?
Hala introduces herself with your business name and behaves like a trained receptionist. We don't deceive callers — if asked directly whether she's human, she answers honestly that she's an AI assistant. In practice, most callers don't ask because the conversation feels natural.
Can Hala really speak my regional dialect?
Yes. We offer six GCC voice profiles — Saudi, Emirati, Kuwaiti, Qatari, Bahraini, and Omani — each recorded and tuned with native voice actors and validated against real call recordings. You can preview every voice and even A/B test two before committing.
What if Hala can't answer or a caller gets frustrated?
You set a fallback number. Hala transfers the call to a human (front desk, on-call staff, or voicemail) when a caller explicitly asks for one, when the topic falls outside her scope, or after two failed attempts to understand. No caller is ever left stuck.
How long does it take to go live?
Most businesses are answering real calls within 48 hours. Onboarding is: connect your booking system (or use our dashboard), choose a voice profile, set your hours and appointment types, and point your number to ARA. Our team is on a WhatsApp thread with you through the whole process.
Do I need to change my phone number?
No. You can keep your current number and forward it to ARA, or we provision a dedicated GCC-local number — whichever you prefer. Number porting is available on request.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days, no credit card required. Your dedicated number, voice profile, and full dashboard access are all included. You cancel in one click if it's not a fit.
What counts as an AI minute?
Every second a caller is on the line with Hala counts toward your monthly minute pool. Calls that transfer to a human, ring-outs, and voicemail drops do not consume minutes. We notify you at 80% and 100% of your pool — service never cuts off mid-month.
Where is my data stored?
Call recordings, transcripts, and booking data are stored in-region — GCC or EU data centers — by default. We comply with Saudi PDPL and UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. You control retention (default 180 days) and can delete any recording instantly.
Does Hala send WhatsApp confirmations and reminders?
Yes. Every booking triggers a WhatsApp confirmation on all plans. Reminder sequences (24h before, 1h before, morning-of) are fully configurable per appointment type. Arabic and English templates are included.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard in one click — your plan runs to the end of the current billing period, no cancellation fees, no retention calls.
